Personalizing your iPhone
Everyone who is into mobile phones will have no doubt heard of Apples latest venture the iPhone. Essentially this is a mobile phone, ipod, camera, PDA and because of the large touch screen display it can be easily used as a web browser and email client. You can also view movies and photos on its lovely hi res screen.
One of the great features of the iphone is that it integrates with your computer so seamlesly just by sitting it in its dock and plugging it into the computers USB port. Everytime you do this you can have all your latest music, photos, movies and even things like your browsers bookmarks all transfered to your phone.
Because its so easy to get your pictures from your computer onto your iphone, picking a great iphone wallpaper is quick and fun enabling you to personalize your iphones desktop screen. So how do you set an iphone desktops - from the home screen press the photos button, this will show all your photo albums. At the top of the list will be the camera roll which is all the pictures you have taken with the actual phone. So if you have just taken a great picture on your iphone and want to set it as your desktop this is where to look. Below this are all the albums from your iPhoto library this is where you can set a wallpaper that you have downloaded onto your computer and then synced to your iphone. Tap one of the libraries in the list and then scroll through all the thumbnails to find the image you want to use, then click it. This will show the picture full screen and at the bottom left of the screen you will see a rectangle with an arrow through it. Tap this and from the options tap Use as Wallpaper. Then click the set button and thats it a great new wallpaper!
And of course the procedure for setting ipod touch wallpapers is exactly the same
